I saw Mr. Lorenzi at an outpatient consultation to discuss an MRI test showing stones in my gallbladder as well as in the bile duct. He explained what the problem was very thoroughly and then advised on the surgery that was needed, again in great detail, which totally reassured me. He is clearly a very competent and experienced GI surgeon, and I underwent a laparoscopic cholecystectomy as well as CBD exploration and clearance of stones from the bile duct. This was a complex procedure, but it went smoothly, which meant that recovery was a little slow to start with, but I am now fully recovered. On the follow up visit, it was evident that all had healed well. He is very pleasant and I cannot emphasise enough how well cared for I felt and how at all times he explained all things clearly and gave me enough time for all the questions I had. I am very happy with his skill and care, and definitely recommend him.

The most courteous, friendly and helpful surgeon you could wish for - and if the results of my hernia operation are anything to go by, extremely good at his job. Can only highly recommend him and would not hesitate to use him to repair my ageing body again!

I was operated on by Mr Lorenzi on the 7th February, after waiting for a few years for this operation, from my initial meeting, my pre-operation talk through to the day of the operation I could not have been happier. It was carried out with kindness, thoughtfulness and friendliness. Mr Bruno Lorenzi is a wonderful surgeon, he makes sure that you understand all about the procedure that he is going to perform. He takes great care of you as a patient and is always so polite and welcoming. I could not have asked for better treatment from him and the staff at Springfield Hospital. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an operation and would like to thank him for taking on my case if I ever need any other treatment I would most certainly ask for him to treat me.
